How did you guys meet?

Tell me about your proposal:

He took me to cave point under the pretense of taking photos with some friends. Our friends were ‘in on it’ and had a camera snapping pics and took video recording the proposal. I don’t think it hit me until about 10 minutes later what had actually happened.

What are three things you love about your significant other?

I love how caring he is, especially with animals. If I am not feeling well, his first reaction is to show me a cute animal to cheer me up. I love his quiet demeanor. He says what he needs to say and not much more. There are not many people you can sit in comfortable silence with, and I can sit with him. I love how he can make me laugh, even when I’m not in the mood.

What is your favorite thing to do together?

Go to the zoo/wildlife sanctuary/the farm. Anything that involves seeing animals.

What are three things your significant other loves about you?

From Joe: I love your smile and presence, whenever I see you I instantly feel better. I love how much you care about everyone and you do whatever it takes to make people feel welcome, you can start conversations with anyone. I love you for having the same love for animals, like going to the farm and seeing your face light up when you see them.

What are your favorite foods/drinks?

Him- pizza and Diet Coke. Me- macaroni and coffee (not together)

Do you have a favorite TV show or movie?

Probably the Jurassic movies. We bonded over them

Do you have a favorite date night activity?

Staying in and cuddling on the couch with the cats

Where is your favorite place to visit together?

Currently door county as we have not traveled much, but it is on both of our lists.
