Every bride dreams of their wedding day, all the planning, all the hopes, and plans after the wedding so much time and energy. Unfortunately, sometimes things can’t happen according to plan. Amanda & Spencer’s wedding was scheduled to be this Saturday, October 12th, however, this past weekend Amanda fell ill and today she began chemo treatments for Leukemia.
As many of you might be aware planning a wedding is expensive these days. Well, so is fighting cancer. Since I had already planned on spending the entire day photographing Amanda and Spencer’s wedding I would like to still spend the entire day photographing FOR them instead of photographing them.
I am opening up a two-hour slot this Saturday for Mini Sessions to raise funds to support Amanda and Spencer during this difficult time. Once we fill the two-hour time slot I will open up an additional hour, and after that hour is filled I will open another hour. My hope is to fill the entire day with sessions and I am willing to shoot until the sun goes down. All proceeds from the session fees will go directly to Amanda for her care needs as she undergoes treatment for Leukemia. All payments will be taken the day of in the form of cash or Check. Checks can be made out directly to Spencer Thiel, who is Amanda’s Fiance. I also just opened up some additional session opportunities in Green Bay for Sunday. Scroll down for more information.
Please feel free to donate above and beyond your session fee. Otherwise, I know the family would also be appreciative of gas cards and even Walmart gift cards for groceries for an added donation that would really help them out.
We will have two options for sessions:
Option 1: 10 Minute Session- 5 Digital Images for $125. The session fee includes the session time and five digital images delivered via an online gallery. It will also include a print release for you to print anywhere you choose. Images will be delivered by Friday, October 18th, which gives you plenty of time to use these for holiday cards!
Option 2: 20 Minute Session- 15 Digital Images for $250. The session fee includes the session time and fifteen digital images delivered via an online gallery. It will also include a print release for you to print anywhere you choose. Images will be delivered by Friday, October 18th, which gives you plenty of time to use these for holiday cards!
The Saturday sessions will take place at Nut Hill Ski Area in Plymouth, WI. I included a map below, but you can type “Nut Hill Ski Area” into google maps and it will take you to our location. If you have any questions please reach out hello@kristinreuterphotography.com
The Sunday sessions will take place in Green Bay at He Nis Ra Park. 1804 S Point Road, Green Bay, WI. I will also include a map below.

Amanda’s friend Kim was there from 10:00 am-12:20 pm to collection cash/check donations, gift card donations. She also be helped everyone that came take their photo with an Instaxx camera to place in a scrapbook for Amanda. They wrote a message or an inspirational quote for Amanda to read and lift her spirits.
