James and Jamey are ENGAGED! | Green Bay Engagement Photographer

I first met Jamey and James while photographing another wedding! I was so excited when I received their email regarding the possibility of having me document their love story! We met to go over the details and decided to schedule their engagement session for mid-November.  We were all thinking that by mid-November there is a decent probability of having snow for their photos!  HAHA BOY were we wrong!  It was an abnormally warm day, windy, but warm.  Warm enough that I showed up to their session at Voyager Park, in De Pere, WI in flip flips (gotta wear them one last time before putting them away for the winter!) and short sleeves.  Back to the wind: I'm up for pretty much any weather conditions while photographing an event.  Snow, rain, wind, no problem at all. I gave Jamey the option to reschedule since the wind was pretty crazy, but she decided to brave the wind and to proceed with their engagement session.  Thankfully we were able to utilize our surroundings to our advantage to ensure Jamey's hair wasn't all over the place. Everyone with long hair can sympathize with this!  Nearing the end of our totally awesome session, I mean the sky was seriously awesome (take a look below), we noticed we had some observers.  I turned around to see Courtney Ryan, a reporter for FOX 11.  We then paused the session so Jamey could be interviewed!  How fun is that!   I captured a few images from the interview as well.  I hope you guys enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking and working on them!

Here is a link to the interview if you're curious!

See what I mean? The sky was doing all sorts of pretty things for us! it started off pretty dark and overcast full of cool blue hues, then it gave us this nice pink turned nearly orange hue.  I just love these images. Some of my favorite from 2016 for sure!
